Robert Paul Weston |
|
Robert Paul Weston is making his first appearance at the Milton Book Festival for Children; this after publishing
only last October his first book, Zorgamazoo. And the book has been a phenomenal critical
success story. Hard on the heels of his book being awarded the best designed children’s book in the U.S.,
Zorgamazoo was nominated for the 2009 E.B. White award for best children’s read-aloud. This full length tale
is a gothic novel written entirely in rhyming verse which is best suited for family read alouds. If Dr. Suess,
(Weston’s admitted inspiration) and Roald Dahl had ever collaborated, this is what may have resulted.
Robert is originally from the Georgetown area, but left town for more literary pastures of Vancouver and
London, England. He is currently residing in Toronto where he is diligently working on his second book.
